City Crafter Challenge Blog ~ week 36 Vintage Christmas

Guess this is our very last Christmas Challenge this year? How about a
Vintage Christmas
Well, this vintage challenge theme was inspired by another beautiful city I've been to
Aspen, Colorado in United States.
Aspen's elevation is 7,890 feet, it could snow as early as September, when downtown Aspen is covered with snow, it looks just like a Christmas Town.

Here's a little about Cassandra and her pretty Etsy Shops

My artistic journey has been an interesting one! Each turn has molded me into what I am today. This is very apparent as you flip through the pages of my shop. From the royal queen, wonderland and fairyland. What inspires me most, has taken many different turns. I enjoy making collage sheets, because it allows me to create my own story, my own characters to share with others. I have never been that great at drawing or painting, but digitally I can repurposed vintage images and create unique hand designed accents to help bring my dreams to life. If you stop by, I do hope you enjoy flipping through the pages of my artistic journey. And if one of my images do inspired you, nothing makes me happier than to see a lovely creation with one of my images.

Here's a little about our wonderful sponsor Diane from Di's Digi Designs

I have been drawing since a child and studied graphics at College many years ago, I now work as a Medical photographer part time but my love was always drawing. I started cardmaking about 4 years ago when I bought my daughter a cardmaking kit which we did together, but I'm afraid I got the bug! My daughter preferred scrapbooking. I then started looking online at other blogs and this then became my passion and I loved sharing my cards with likeminded people.
I  love stamping and loved finding images, but sometimes I could not find what I wanted so I started to draw myself.
This then has become my second addiction and I have never looked back I love thinking of new images, and its just fabulous to see others take them and make them into beautiful works of art. Long may it continue!

Thanks Diane, for sponsoring us this week, the winner will get to choose 5 images of their choice from Diane's fabulous creation at Di's Digi Designs

CCCB Week 34 ~ Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow!!

Hi all! This is Cheryl back with this week's theme: Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow! *well, at least on your projects. I adore the look of snow on projects, but am strictly a warm weather girl, myself...so the only snow I get is the kind I create. I am hoping you will join us too, with some really *cool* projects...yes, pun intended...I'm so cheesy! The challenge is to create any project (card, layout, altered item, decor) with some kind of image of snow on it, whether it be snow or a snowflake or a snowman or snowlady. Let the snow fall! I can't wait to see what you all come up with!

CCCB Week 33 ~ Blue Christmas

Hello everyone! It is me Linda again and I am your host again this week! With Christmas right around the corner, I thought it would be nice to do a Christmas card/project..... not just any kind of christmas card/project, but one with a theme! So how about a "BLUE CHRISTMAS". The minute I thought of this, I thought of Elvis. Do you know the song I am talking about? Anyway, for this week's challenge, we want you to create a Christmas Card/Project with a blue theme.... just like the one you see in the inspiration photo from A Creative Mint.

I am pleased to introduce our Guest Designer that will play along with us this week.
Tante Kathe(Majo), thanks for your beautiful card Majo!

Here's a little about Majo in her own words:
My name is Majo (a shortcut for Marion). Around the net I am known as "Tante Kathe". My husband and I live near Frankfurt/Germany with our two lovely cats, also pretty much known around the crop community, as Emma and Cookie are my favorite objects on my layouts.
I started paper crafting in the winter 2007/2008 when a friend introduced me to the fun of scrapbooking, card making and stamping! I found it was the perfect way to play with all the ideas that kept running through my mind. I am very lucky to have a supportive husband who knows that I love crafting. I started blogging 9 months ago, just because I wanted to participate in challenges, and since then I have met a bunch of wonderful crafters and had a lot of fun. You are very welcome to visit my blog (www.majos-art.blogspot.com)

CCCB Week 32 ~ My Cuppa (city - Seattle)

Hey all, it is me, Kirsty again, this week, I am taking you to Seattle, the original birthplace of Starbucks Coffee Shop. I've been to Seattle many times, the last time was just last weekend to meet up with my brother and his family, all the way from Singapore. If you haven't know yet, the original Starbucks was opened in Pike Place Market in Seattle, Washington, in 1971. From 1971-1976, that first Starbucks was at 2000 Western Avenue; it then was relocated to 1912 Pike Place, where it remains to this day.
